Let’s Connect

Looking for support, wanting to volunteer, interested in partnering with us, or working on a media inquiry?
We want to hear from you either way.

Partnerships & Sponsorships

Churches, schools, healthcare providers, and other organizations that serve people who are grieving are welcome to partner with us. Businesses can also sponsor events and programs, set up matching gifts, or donate space, supplies, or professional services. Choose "Partnership or Sponsorship" as your reason for contact and tell us a little about what you have in mind.

For Media

The 1120 Kollective is a Chicago-based nonprofit founded by Dr. Yakima Palmer in honor of her son, Vaughan. It offers culturally affirming, holistic grief support through peer-led support groups, community rituals, and one-on-one resource navigation, with particular attention to communities of color and other underserved populations. For interviews or quotes, choose "Media" as your reason for contact.

A Note If You're in Crisis

If you're in immediate crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or go to your nearest emergency room. The 1120 Kollective offers grief support and community, but we are not a crisis service.
